About Tree nursery Rein en Mark Bulk
In 1958 Rein Bulk started a nursery in Boskoop. His love for plants inspired him to collect rare and new plants from across the world, expanding the product range every year. Today the nursery is a medium-sized company run by the second Bulk generation. The Boskoop area is famous for its excellent peat soil, the best start for growing plants. The plants are mostly grown outside, which promotes the plants' (winter) hardiness. There are huge advantages to growing plants outside. The plants grow better, are less susceptible to stress and are therefore naturally more healthy. It goes without saying that in addition to soil-grown plants we also market plants grown in pots and freshly potted plants.
We are specialised in growing plants you will not easily find in other nurseries. We supply unique plants to buyers across the world. We grow unique, new and rare shrubs, climbers, miniature plants (for smaller and rock gardens), conifers, etc. Due to the limited size of our nursery, and because many plants are quite difficult to grow, our stocks depend on our propagation success rate. This means that our stocks vary greatly on a yearly basis.
Unlike a garden centre, no plants may be taken from our nursery. The advantage is that there are no leftover or weaker plants to choose from. Deliveries take place by order only. Orders may be made all year. During the delivery season (Mid September to Mid April) orders are either shipped out or may be picked up.
